Languages of Eastren India are Assamese,Bengali,Bodo,English,Garo,Khasi,Kokborok,Manipuri,Mizo, Nyishi,Adi,Nepali,Monpa,Wancho,Tangsa,Mishmi,Mishing,Nocte,Karbi,Sylheti,Maram,Hajong,Rabha,Koch,Zou,Poula,Thadou,Vaiphei,Tangkhul,Paite,MaoLianglad,Rongmei,Gangte,Mate,Tedim,Chakma,Mara,Tripuri,Hmar,Paite,Konyak,Lotha,Angami,Phom,Sema,Yimchimgre,Lai,AoSangtam,Chakru,chang,Zeliang,Rengma,Hmar etc.
As per 2001 Census, Government of India announced 22 scheduled languages officially,Four eastern india languages are included in scheduled languages they are Assamese,Bodo,Manipuri,Santali.
